Workdays

Workdays are held on the 3rd Saturday of the month, unless they have to be rescheduled due to inclement weather. We’ll meet in the day parking lot off Apple Road at 8:00 a.m. for work assignments. Lunch will be provided but bring your own drinks. We rarely work later than 12:00 & then have lunch there in the parking lot.

Grant for Improving Day Parking

Friends of Kings Mountain State Park
Exciting news came at the last quarterly meeting of the Friends of Kings Mountain State Park which was held at the lodge of Camp York on Monday evening, 10/17/11.  SC state Representative Dennis Moss and Phil Gaines, SCPRT, presented the Friends of KMSP and Shea Joyner, Park Manager, a $57.640. check to them to be used to expand and improve the day parking lot on Apple Road.
